Materials & Safety

We think you should know exactly what you’re holding. Here’s the plain version.

What our toys are made of

Depending on the toy, we use a few different materials, each chosen for how it feels and how it holds up:

  • TPR (thermoplastic rubber): soft, stretchy, and springy. Common in squishy and stretchy fidgets.
  • PU foam (polyurethane): that slow, satisfying squish-and-rebound. Used in many of our squishy toys.
  • Silicone: food-grade where relevant, easy to clean, and great for textured or chewable-style fidgets.

The exact materials for each toy are listed on its product page. If you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, check there first, or just ask us. We’re happy to confirm.

Safety standards

  • Our toys are BPA-free and phthalate-free.
  • They’re tested to the EN71 European toy-safety standard, which covers things like material safety and mechanical properties.
  • We choose materials and finishes with everyday, hands-on use in mind.

Small parts and age guidance

This is the important part, so we’ll say it clearly.

Some of our fidgets contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3, due to a choking risk. That age guidance is printed on the packaging and listed on each product page. Please read it before buying for a young child.

For little ones, supervised play is always safest. If a toy isn’t designed for a particular age group, we’ll tell you. We won’t leave you guessing.

Caring for your toy

  • Wipe most toys with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then let them air-dry fully.
  • Silicone items are generally the most washable; foam and TPR prefer a gentle wipe over soaking.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, dishwashers, and prolonged direct sunlight or heat, unless a product page says otherwise.

A note on chewing and oral use

Some people use fidgets near or in the mouth for sensory reasons, and that’s valid. Only use a toy that way if its product page specifically says it’s intended for it, and replace any chewable item that shows wear. When in doubt, ask us before assuming.

If you ever have a safety question we haven’t answered here, email us. We’d always rather you ask.
