Calm Orb Water-Bead Squeeze Ball
Full-hand squeeze release and redirecting restless habits
Squeeze & Stress Balls
A soft, slow-give gel stress ball that fits the palm and rewards every squeeze: the quiet classic for tense hands and racing minds.
Sometimes the most calming thing is the simplest. Steady Hand is a soft, palm-sized squeeze ball with a smooth skin and a slow, even give that's deeply satisfying to press: squeeze, hold, release, repeat. That full-hand motion is a simple, satisfying way to pour out physical tension and give racing thoughts a steady rhythm to follow, which is why squeeze balls are a staple for stress relief, focus and gentle hand-strength work. It's firm enough to feel substantial but soft enough to use one-handed under a desk during a tense call, and quiet enough that no one will ever know. It also makes a great redirect for nail-biting or restless fingers, a better thing to do with your hands. No batteries, no noise, no fuss: just a reliable, screen-free reset button you can keep at work, at home and in the bag.
Soft non-toxic gel core with a durable TPR skin. BPA- and phthalate-free, EN71 tested.
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and air dry. Do not pierce the skin. Keep away from sharp objects, pets and small children. If the surface ever gets sticky, a quick rinse and dry restores it.

great little fidget
Use it at work every day. Worth it.
great at first, softened over time
Update after about five months: I liked this a lot in the beginning and used it daily on the couch in the evenings. The problem is it's slowly lost its springiness. When it was new it bounced back with a nice even give, and now it stays dented a beat too long before it recovers its shape. Not broken, not split, just tired. For the price maybe that's expected with everyday use, but I wanted to be honest since the early days really were good. Mine was the Coral.
great with a tiny caveat
Really like this squeeze ball — it feels amazing in the hand. Only thing, the plain look isn’t exciting. Still using it daily.
great little fidget
This little stress ball scratches the sensory itch just right. Five stars from me.
almost perfect
really like this stress ball — it genuinely calms me down. Only thing, it lost a bit of its shape over time. Still using it daily.
does the job but it's plain
No complaints about how it works — good slow squeeze, quiet, easy to keep in a coat pocket. I'll admit I was a little let down by the look when it arrived. Next to all the cute character squishies my daughter has, this is just a plain ball. Which, fair, that's what I ordered. For an adult who wants something discreet at work that's actually a plus. Just know you're getting function, not personality.
my son's overwhelm tool for school
We bought this for my 9-year-old who gets overwhelmed and used to clench his fists when things got loud at school. His teacher okayed it for the calm corner because it makes no noise at all. He squeezes it a few times and it seems to help him reset. The lavender one is in his backpack daily and has survived a couple of months of being a kid's. Cheap enough that I'd just buy another if it walked off.
so soft
Keeps my hands busy in the car without anyone noticing. Love it.
works well, a touch firmer than I wanted
Solid little ball for the money and the no-noise factor is great for night shifts on the ward — I can decompress at the desk without disturbing anyone. The one thing keeping it from full marks for me is the firmness. It's described as soft and it is squishy, but I was after something I could really sink my hand into and this has a bit more push-back than expected. Honestly might just be personal preference. Ocean Blue.
lovely little thing
this little squeeze ball keeps my hands busy so I can actually listen. Five stars from me.
exactly as described
Got the Sage and it’s even prettier in person. Worth it.
love it
Didn’t think a squeeze ball would do much, but it stopped me reaching for my phone.
lovely little thing
My husband is obsessed with this squeeze ball — hasn’t put it down.
not quite for me
wanted to love it but smaller than I pictured. The idea is good and it looked great, just didn’t hold up the way I hoped.
my new favorite
Worth it. Helps me focus on calls.
lovely little thing
Gave it to my granddaughter and it was a hit. Might order one for myself.

Gave it to my nephew and it was a hit. Might order one for myself.
good, minor niggle
Really like this stress ball — it stopped me reaching for my phone. Only thing, firmer than I expected. Still using it daily.
good cheap desk ball
Sits next to my keyboard. Squeeze during tense emails, back to typing. Does the job, didn't cost much.
lovely little thing
Honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it helps me focus on calls.
love it
My stress is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
too soft for grip training
I bought this to rebuild hand strength after a wrist injury and it's just too soft to do much for me. There's barely any resistance once you get past the first squeeze, so it doesn't make my hand work the way I need. To be fair the material feels nice and it's genuinely silent, so for someone who only wants something to fidget with it'd probably be fine. For actual strengthening I had to go buy a firmer therapy ball instead.
calm in the palm
so soft and the squeeze and release is genuinely satisfying. Exactly what I hoped for.
does the job
use it at work every day. Exactly what I hoped for.
stopped me picking at my nails
Bought this to give my hands a job during long meetings because I bite and pick at my cuticles when I'm bored or stressed. Three weeks in and my fingers look noticeably better. The squeeze is satisfying in a way I can't fully explain — soft but with some resistance so it pushes back a little. Wish I'd tried something this simple years ago.
good and not-so-good
the stress ball is genuinely nice, but the plain look isn’t exciting. It’s fine, just landed in the middle for me.
hooked
Didn’t think a squeeze ball would do much, but it helps me feel a bit calmer.
a bit let down
Wanted to love it but the plain look isn’t exciting. The idea is good and it looked great, just didn’t hold up the way I hoped.
for the anger more than anything
I run hot. Always have. When I feel it climbing I'd rather take it out on a ball than a person, and this gives me something to do with that energy. The full-hand squeeze, hold, let go thing genuinely helps me come back down a notch. It's not a cure for a short temper but it buys me the few seconds I need. Lavender, if anyone cares.
good and not-so-good
The stress ball is genuinely nice, but it lost a bit of its shape over time. It’s fine, just landed in the middle for me.
buy it
So glad I bought it. Scratches the sensory itch just right.
quiet enough for the open-plan office
the whole reason i bought this over a clicky fidget is that it makes absolutely no sound. open floor plan, people on calls all day, and i can squeeze away under my desk and nobody knows. coral colorway is nicer in person than the photo. 6cm-ish, fits in my palm, lives in my bag when im not at work. cheap and it works.
love it
A few weeks in and it’s still my favourite. Couldn’t be happier.
hooked
my roommate asked me to order them their own. That says it all.

better made than the cheap ones online — this one actually lasts.
lovely little thing

better than expected
Honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it keeps my hands busy so I can actually listen.
ordered for my dad after his stroke
My father is working on grip strength on his left side and his therapist suggested something soft to start with before the firmer therapy putty. This was perfect for that stage. The skin is smooth so it doesn't catch on his fingers, and the slow give means he can hold a squeeze without it fighting back too hard. We got the Ocean Blue. He keeps it on the arm of his recliner and uses it during the news. Small enough for his hand, which matters more than you'd think.
lovely, just smaller than I pictured
I'm 71 and the arthritis in my hands has me doing little exercises through the day. This is gentle and the slow give is kind to stiff joints, no sharp resistance. My only surprise was the size — it says about 6cm but I'd imagined something closer to a tennis ball and it's a fair bit smaller. Fine for me, but if you have large hands or want a real workout, size up. The Sage colour is restful.
love it
Honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it stopped me reaching for my phone.

my new favorite
This little stress ball helps me feel a bit calmer. Five stars from me.
does exactly what a stress ball should
Nothing fancy here and that's the whole point. Got the Sage one. It sits in the cupholder of my truck and I squeeze it in traffic instead of gripping the wheel like I'm trying to strangle it. The give is slow enough that it actually feels like you're doing something, not just popping a balloon. For nine bucks I have zero complaints.
almost perfect

3 questions answered by our team and buyers
Ask a questionDoes this genuinely help with ADHD focus, or is it just a toy?
Honest answer: it helps a lot of people, and we won't pretend it's magic. Having something to squeeze with your hands can take the edge off restlessness, stress or the urge to fidget, and many of our customers find that genuinely steadying. It is a supportive tool though, not a treatment or a cure. If you're navigating a diagnosis, a professional is the right person to guide that.
Helps me more than I expected. mostly it just gives my hands a better job than picking at my nails.
Is the Steady Hand actually quiet enough to use in meetings?
Completely silent, yes. No clicks, no pops, nothing for anyone to notice. It's one of the toys we specifically recommend for meetings, classrooms and quiet offices.
How big is it really? It's hard to judge the scale from photos.
It's about Approx. 6.3 cm diameter. It sits comfortably in an adult palm and tucks into a bag or pocket easily. The full dimensions are in the details table on this page.
