Drift Jellyfish Glitter Squishy
Slow-melt calm for anxious moments and 2 a.m. overthinking
Squishies & Slow-Rising Toys
A round, loaf-shaped cat squishy that settles into your palm and rises back slow. Soft, drowsy and quietly soothing.
Loaf Cat has one job and does it perfectly: sit there being calm. It's a plump, loaf-shaped kitty squishy with little folded ears and a drowsy face, soft enough to flatten and slow enough to round back over a few seconds. There's something about that unhurried rise that is easy to watch and sink into, which is why it earns a spot on the desk for anxious afternoons and on the nightstand for winding down. The matte skin is gentle for long, idle fidgeting, and it's silent in any room: no rattle, no squeak, just a soft thing to hold. The kind of small comfort your hands reach for without thinking.
Slow-rising polyurethane (PU) foam with a soft matte skin and non-toxic printed detailing. BPA- and phthalate-free.
Spot-clean with a barely-damp cloth and air dry fully; never soak foam squishies. Keep away from heat, oils and sharp edges. Not food-safe, so keep away from mouths.

calm in cat form
Hard to explain why pressing a little foam cat flat and watching it slowly puff back up is so settling, but it is. It's become a tiny ritual when my chest feels tight. Soft matte skin, no squeak, fits in my palm. The drowsy face genuinely makes me exhale. One small comfort I didn't know I needed for $12.99.
got my partner through finals week
Bought this for my boyfriend who's in nursing school and was a stress ball of a human during exams. He keeps it next to his laptop and squishes it between flashcards. He says the slow rise is weirdly grounding when his heart is racing about a test. Grey Tabby, holds up to a LOT of abuse. Best 13 bucks I've spent on him in a while.
wanted to love it
Wanted to love it but the printed face fades a little with handling. The idea is good and it looked great, just didn’t hold up the way I hoped.
so soft
Quiet, calming, perfect for at work. Better than I expected.
better than expected
Got the Cream and it’s even prettier in person. Worth it.
11pm, brain won't quiet, this helps
That's the exact moment I bought it for and it delivers. Lights off, phone down, and I just slowly press the loaf and let it rise in the dark. The four-or-five-second comeback paces my breathing somehow. I've cut down on doom-scrolling because reaching for this is easier than reaching for the phone. Black Cat version, matte and soft, no smell by the time it shipped to me.
my anxious afternoons have a new companion
Around 2 or 3pm my brain starts spinning and I reach for this without thinking. Pressing it flat and waiting for it to come back gives my hands and head something steady to do. Not a fix for anything, just a small calm thing that takes the edge off. The grey tabby print is sweet and the foam still feels exactly like day one after a couple months.
good, minor niggle
Really like this little squishy — it takes the edge off when I’m wound up. Only thing, mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. Still using it daily.
better than expected
my anxiety is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
great squish, watch your thumb placement
Really happy with it overall. Slow rebound is exactly as described, the loaf shape sits nice in the hand, and it's silent which I needed for the office. One real caveat: the printed face can smudge if you keep mashing the same spot. Mine's a couple weeks in and the grey tabby's stripes are starting to soften where my thumb lands. Minor, but worth knowing if the looks matter to you as much as the squish.
great little fidget
Honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it lives on my nightstand now.
the slow rise is the whole point
Bought this on a whim after a rough stretch of sleep and it's earned its spot on my nightstand. You squash the little loaf flat and it takes a good five seconds to round back out, and somehow watching that unhurried rise slows me down too. Got the Grey Tabby. The folded ears and sleepy face are genuinely cute without being obnoxious about it. It's the last thing I press before I turn the light off most nights now.

at work this is exactly what my hands needed. Worth it.
lovely little thing
my restlessness is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
does the job
My teenager is obsessed with this squishy — hasn’t put it down.
soft and nice, but the face faded on me
Mixed feelings. The squish itself is great — slow, quiet, genuinely relaxing to mash while I'm on calls. The problem is the printed face. I fidget with it constantly and after maybe six weeks the cream one's little eyes and nose have lightened where my thumb sits. Still works as a squishy, but the cute factor is what sold me and it's wearing off faster than I'd like. Wanted to be honest about that since I use it hard.
lovely little thing
Use it on long calls every day. Exactly what I hoped for.
so soft
better made than the cheap ones online — this one actually lasts.
lovely little thing
honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it gives my nervous energy somewhere to go.
silent, which mattered more than I thought
Open-plan office, and most of my fidgets either click or rattle and I get self-conscious. This one makes zero noise. I flatten it under the desk during meetings and nobody knows. Matte skin doesn't get gross or sticky after a day of handling either. Cream colorway looks like a little bread cat on my monitor stand.
good and not-so-good
The squishy is genuinely nice, but mine arrived with a small crease that mostly settled. It’s fine, just landed in the middle for me.
perfect little gift
Got it for my sister who is obsessed with cats and she squealed. Soft, drowsy, and honestly the loaf shape is spot on for anyone who knows the meme. She keeps it by her bed now.
so soft
Keep one on the train and another on long calls. Exactly what I hoped for.
decent for the price
The little squishy is genuinely nice, but there was a faint smell the first day that aired out. It’s fine, just landed in the middle for me.
so worth it
A few weeks in and it’s still my favourite. No notes, love it.

so worth it
Bought one, already ordered another. It helps quiet my head before bed.
lovely little thing
Honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it has become part of my wind-down.
lovely but smaller than the photos read
Don't get me wrong, I really like it — the slow rise is so satisfying and it's soft in a way that's easy to hold for ages while I'm reading. My only thing is I pictured it bigger. It's about 9cm so it sits in the palm rather than filling your hand, which the listing does say, I just didn't clock it. Still drowsy and sweet. Got the Black Cat and the little face is adorable.
great little fidget
Didn’t think a slow-rise squishy would do much, but it gives my nervous energy somewhere to go.
my new favorite
My stress is easier to sit with when this is in my hand.
good, minor niggle

my new favorite
Gave it to a coworker and it was a hit. Might order one for myself.

better than I expected. Has become part of my wind-down.
calm in the palm
Got the Grey Tabby and it’s even prettier in person. Exactly what I hoped for.
faint smell the first day, gone now
When I opened it there was a slight foam smell — not chemical-harsh, just that new-PU thing. Left it on the windowsill overnight and by morning it was gone. Mentioning it because I almost panicked. Past that it's a solid little squishy, slow rebound, nice matte finish, good for keeping my hands busy instead of nail biting. Would've been five if it shipped odorless.
love it
My wife is obsessed with this little squishy — hasn’t put it down.
quiet enough for the night shift
I work overnights and during the dead hours I need something to fidget with that won't disturb anyone or keep me wired. This is perfect — totally silent, soft, and the slow squish is calming rather than stimulating. Helps me wind back down when I get home too. The cream loaf lives on my work bag's front pocket so it travels desk to home with me.
exactly as described
My granddaughter asked me to order them their own. That says it all.
better than expected
Use it in the car every day. So glad I bought it.

Honestly didn’t expect much for the price and it is so satisfying to squish.
so soft
Gave it to my niece and it was a hit. Might order one for myself.
small but mighty cute
Update after two months: still the thing I grab first. I was worried the slow-rise foam would go floppy with daily use but it bounces back the same as day one. The Black Cat colourway is gorgeous, matte and dense feeling. My daughter keeps trying to steal it so I think a second one is coming. Genuinely soothing to hold while I'm reading at night.
hooked
Keep one on flights and another at my desk. No notes, love it.

3 questions answered by our team and buyers
Ask a questionIs the Loaf Cat actually quiet enough to use in a quiet office?
Completely silent, yes. No clicks, no pops, nothing for anyone to notice. It's one of the toys we specifically recommend for meetings, classrooms and quiet offices.
How big is it really? It's hard to judge the scale from photos.
It's about Approx. 9 cm. It sits comfortably in an adult palm and tucks into a bag or pocket easily. The full dimensions are in the details table on this page.
Would this work for an autistic adult who needs sensory input?
Honest answer: it helps a lot of people, and we won't pretend it's magic. Having something to squish with your hands can take the edge off restlessness, stress or the urge to fidget, and many of our customers find that genuinely steadying. It is a supportive tool though, not a treatment or a cure. If you're navigating a diagnosis, a professional is the right person to guide that.
Works for me as one thing in my toolkit. I keep it on my desk and reach for it without thinking.
